Flying Is Stressful Enough
You’ve got a flight at 6:45am. What time do you need to arrive at the airport? When should you leave the house? Did you remember to check in? What gate are you at?
Most people manage this with a mental checklist and low-grade anxiety. They set three different alarms, screenshot their boarding pass, and still feel uneasy until they’re actually at the gate.
Composed turns a flight confirmation screenshot into a calm pre-flight timeline — so the prep is handled and you can confirm the rest with your airline.

How It Works
1. Add your flight. Snap a screenshot of your confirmation, paste the text, or just type the flight number and date. Composed reads what’s there.
2. A complete timeline is built. Composed works backwards from your departure time and creates a sequence of events and reminders:
- Check-in reminder — 24 hours before departure, when most airlines open online check-in
- Packing window — enough time to pack without rushing
- When to leave for the airport — based on distance, time of day, and recommended arrival buffer
- Airport arrival target — 2 hours for domestic, 3 for international (adjustable)
- Boarding alert — when it’s time to head to your gate
- Landing awareness — so anyone picking you up knows when to expect you
3. Confirm with your airline. Composed reads only the screenshot you give it. It doesn’t connect to any airline, airport, or live flight-status system, so it won’t know about gate changes, delays, or schedule shifts — times and gate can change, and only your airline has the live picture. Always confirm your flight times, gate, and status with the airline before you travel. If your plans change, re-import the updated confirmation and the timeline rebuilds.
What Makes This Different
It’s a Timeline, Not a Notification
Other apps might remind you “flight tomorrow.” That’s a fact, not a plan. Composed gives you a sequence of actions, each timed to when you actually need to do them. The difference between knowing you have a flight and being ready for a flight.
Airport Buffer Is Built In
The stressful part of flying isn’t the flight — it’s everything before boarding. Security lines, bag check, finding your gate, grabbing coffee. Composed builds in realistic airport time so you’re not sprinting through Terminal C.
It Connects to Your Day
A 6:45am flight doesn’t just affect your morning — it affects your entire previous evening. Composed helps you see that: pack tonight, set an early alarm, leave the house by 4:30am. The flight exists in context, not isolation.

Real Scenarios
The Early Morning Flight
Flight at 6:45am from a regional airport. Composed builds: check in by 6:45am yesterday (24-hour window), pack by 9pm tonight, alarm at 3:45am, leave house at 4:30am (airport is 35 minutes away + 15-minute buffer), arrive airport by 5:05am, boarding starts at 6:15am. Every step timed. No guesswork.
The Connection You Can’t Miss
Layover in Dallas, 90 minutes between flights. If your booking hints at a connection, Composed flags it and prompts you to add the second leg so both flights land on one timeline. Gate and status still come from your airline — check them when you land.
The Return Flight
Your trip to Portland ends Friday. Composed works backwards from your return flight: check out of hotel by 11am, return rental car by 1pm (budget extra time for the shuttle), arrive airport by 2:30pm for a 4:45pm departure. The last day of your trip is planned, not panicked.

Works With Everything Else
Flight intelligence is deeply integrated with Composed’s core features:
- Departure Tracking — airport trips get enhanced buffer calculations for security, parking, and terminal navigation
- Smart Reminders — flight reminders follow the 3-layer model: awareness a week out, action items the day before, urgency on travel day
- AI Prep Tasks — packing, check-in, pet care arrangements, and other travel prep are generated automatically
- Voice Input — “Flight to Denver next Friday at 2pm, United 847” creates the full timeline from one sentence
Flying doesn’t have to be chaotic. With the right preparation at the right time, you can actually enjoy the trip.
